Bona Fide Bookworm is a woman-owned bookish merch shop based in San Diego, CA. Created by a lifelong reader, this small bookish business started as a passion project and quickly grew into a space that celebrates stories and the joy of wearing your love of books for all to see!
Every shirt, sweatshirt, tote, pin, sticker, and bookish good is designed with readers in mind. These are pieces I created because I want to wear and use them myself, and it's so fun to see how much you love them too!
From reading days sitting in your favorite book nook at home to trips to your favorite bookstore, Bona Fide Bookworm helps you show off your love for reading with cute, punny, and high-quality items you're sure to love.

Abi
Abi is the owner of Bona Fide Bookworm, but in reality her title should be Wearer of Almost All the Hats (and we don't mean our dad caps, though those *are* cute and she does wear them often).
She is also the brains and hands behind all of the artwork and designs we sell, and can often be found listening to audiobooks while designing new bookish merch, embroidering items, and packing your orders.
Chief Cardboard Chewer (CCC)
Brünnhilde
Brünnhilde (Brüni) is our in-house Chief Cardboard Chewer, in charge of testing the strength of all cardboard boxes we receive and send. (Just kidding, she isn't allowed to nibble on the boxes your orders are packed in. Unless you want her to).
She's also a big fan of printers, so every order makes her day since she gets to watch the label printer magic in action!
Pretty Little Baby (PLB)
Charlotte
Charlotte, our in-house Pretty Little Baby, is in charge of boosting morale, being aggressively cute, and reminding everyone that she is, in fact, just a baby by meowing every time she gets stuck somewhere too high in the office.
